Unwanted business stock.
One accountable way out.
Convert surplus, ageing, faulty or end-of-life devices into commercial value without building your own grading, data-security, buyer or logistics operation. We manage the batch from your inventory list to payment and responsible final routing.
One batch record from collection to final route
Old devices rarely become easier
by staying on the shelf.
A surplus batch ties up value, storage and management time. Yet selling it safely requires skills and controls many organisations do not hold internally.
Without dependable grading, testing and market knowledge, businesses risk accepting the wrong value or sending stock to an unknown buyer. Add data obligations, physical logistics and mixed device condition, and a simple disposal task quickly becomes a commercial and compliance project.
Your organisation type changes the brief.
It does not change the accountability.
Different sellers arrive with different pressures: cash flow, fleet refresh, claims recovery, storage, data governance or responsible asset disposal. The service is shaped around that commercial context.
Mobile retailers
Damaged trade-ins, slow-moving devices, customer returns and stock that no longer fits the current retail range.
Online resellers
Faulty returns, incomplete inventory and mixed-condition batches that are tying up warehouse space and working capital.
Wholesalers & distributors
Excess quantities, ageing lines, as-is batches and commercial stock positions that need to move quickly and cleanly.
Insurance companies
Claim devices and recovered assets requiring controlled reconciliation, data instructions and a documented onward route.
Corporate organisations
Employee phones, tablets and laptops released through fleet upgrades, technology refreshes or office closures.
IT asset disposal
Technology refresh and asset-management businesses needing a dependable downstream buyer for reusable device batches.
Leasing companies
End-of-lease devices requiring quantity control, condition assessment, secure processing and a commercially realistic return.
Public sector
Councils, government bodies and public organisations with governance, data-security and auditable disposal requirements.
Charities & non-profits
Donated devices, programme stock and older technology that needs a transparent reuse or responsible recycling decision.
Banks & financial firms
Sensitive operational devices where controlled handling, data instructions and legitimacy checks are essential.
Taxi & transport
Driver phones, dispatch tablets and operational technology released after a fleet or systems upgrade.
Other organisations
Entertainment businesses, multi-site companies and any registered body holding genuine surplus technology in quantity.
Commercial flexibility for
real inventory, not perfect inventory.
We assess each batch on its actual contents, condition, legitimacy, market position and viable onward route. The value follows the stock in front of us.

Send the inventory
Share the device list, quantities, known condition, ownership context, location and any data or collection requirements. We can provide a practical inventory template where needed.
A device can leave your building.
Your data risk cannot leave unmanaged.
Corporate, public-sector, insurance and financial devices may retain employee, customer or operational information. The processing instruction and required evidence must be agreed before movement.
Blancco-supported erasure workflows and auditable reporting can be included where agreed and technically possible. Device identity, erasure outcomes, failures, exceptions and evidence requirements remain connected to the batch process.
GDPR responsibilities depend on the parties, instructions and processing context. Exact roles and evidence are confirmed for each programme.
Doing everything by the book
is a trust signal, not a barrier.
We only work with genuine businesses, organisations, councils, charities and registered bodies authorised to sell the submitted devices.
CheckMend supports device-history and status verification. We do not accept stolen, fraudulently obtained, blocked, blacklisted or CheckMend-failed stock. Clear seller checks protect the organisation releasing the assets, BMW, future buyers and the integrity of the entire transaction.
Your stock can be elsewhere.
Your buy back desk stays in Belfast.
We welcome commercial buy back enquiries from across the United Kingdom and Europe, with collection, packing, insurance and movement requirements assessed around each batch.
Origin, quantity, value, device type and documentation determine the most suitable logistics route. The seller keeps one reachable commercial contact throughout the process.

Resale where sensible.
Recycling where necessary.
Not every device can be economically restored or returned to use. That does not mean it should disappear into general waste.
Suitable stock is prioritised for continued use, refurbishment or parts recovery. Devices without a viable commercial recovery route can move through responsible e-waste channels with applicable WEEE responsibilities in mind, helping organisations support ESG reporting and environmental procurement goals.
Four details help us move
from enquiry to answer faster.
A perfect spreadsheet is not required. A clear and honest starting point is.
Prepare a stock list
Model, capacity, quantity and known condition give the valuation team a dependable starting point.
Confirm legitimate ownership
The seller must be a genuine business or organisation authorised to dispose of the submitted assets.
State the data requirement
Tell us whether devices are already erased and what evidence, reporting or exception handling is required.
Describe the batch honestly
Include known faults, locks, damage, missing parts and mixed-grade content so the initial route is realistic.
Tell us what is sitting
inside your inventory.
The more accurately the batch is described, the faster our Belfast team can identify the right commercial, security and logistics route.
Stop storing devices that no longer serve the business.
Send the inventory to one accountable Belfast team and let us build the right route around it.
Clear answers
before the stock moves.
These are the practical questions organisations usually need resolved before collection, assessment and final valuation.
Which organisations can use the buy back service?
We work with registered businesses, retailers, wholesalers, insurers, leasing firms, corporate organisations, charities, councils, government bodies and other legitimate organisations holding commercial quantities.
Do you buy faulty, BER or as-is devices?
Yes. We review real-world commercial batches across Grade A to C, BER, faulty, as-is and mixed conditions. Acceptance and value depend on the actual products, legitimacy, condition and viable onward route.
Do devices need to be graded before submission?
No. A known grade is useful, but our Belfast team can assess the received batch. Please describe the condition honestly and identify any known faults, locks or missing parts.
How is the final value calculated?
The final offer reflects reconciled quantity, model, specification, function, cosmetic condition, market demand, data-processing needs, logistics and the viable reuse, refurbishment or recycling route.
Can you collect stock from Europe?
Yes. We can assess collection routes across the UK and Europe. Packing, insurance, customs or movement records, timing and cost are confirmed around each batch and origin.
What data-erasure evidence can be provided?
Blancco-supported erasure and reporting can be included where agreed and technically possible. The required process, exceptions and evidence must be confirmed before the stock is collected.
Why do you use CheckMend?
CheckMend supports device-history and status checks. We do not accept blocked, blacklisted, stolen, fraudulently obtained or CheckMend-failed devices, and exceptions may be rejected or returned under agreed terms.
What happens to devices that cannot be resold?
Suitable devices may move through reuse, parts recovery or refurbishment. Residual technology without an economical recovery route is directed through responsible recycling channels with applicable WEEE responsibilities in mind.
How quickly is payment made?
Payment timing is confirmed with the commercial terms. It follows receipt, reconciliation, technical assessment, the final accepted offer and completion of any required compliance checks.
Do you accept stock from private individuals?
This service is designed for genuine businesses, organisations and registered bodies with commercial batches. It is not a consumer trade-in service for one or two personal devices.
